"Black Sands Opera"
0431 (Limited Edition - 55 copies)
Silent Icelandic shore that is washed by cold freezing seawater. Small barbed bushes growing right from black sand dunes, and there is towering the worldwide famous Vestrahorn Mountain, glorious in its loneliness on the horizon. Half an hour between sunset and sunrise, when the sky is clear and the air is frosty, white mist spreads near the coarse roots of the mountain, but at the same time, the peaks of it radiate soft amber light, that is emphasizing dark grey cliffs. The sunlight contrasts with grayness of the landscape. Bright gray clouds almost entirely cover the sky, and as breathing in predawn cold air, you look at deserted north nature, always beauty, clear, calm and gorgeous. The Stokksnes peninsula is famous for three "Horny" Mountains of East Iceland: Vestrahorn Mountain, Eystrahorn Mountain and Brunnhorn Mountain (as known as Batman Mountain). All these mountains are beautiful in their own ways, but professional photographers have been paying a lot of attention exactly to the Vestrahorn Mountain in recent years. Maybe they attracted by its picturesque view, or maybe by the spirit of Icelandic folklore. Who knows maybe really elves and trolls inhabit the Stokksnes. Anyway the print of this landscape looks reservedly and luxury at the same time.

Individually produced to the highest possible standards Alexander Vershinin's limited edition prints are printed on world leading photographic paper, Fujiflex Crystal Archive: an ultra high gloss, museum grade photographic paper, with archival properties of over 70 years and with trade marked printing and mounting technology - Lumachrome Gallery Deluxe with archival properties of over 120 years. Both technologies allow to achieve extremely precise print quality, with a unique opportunity to display sharpness, contrast and color reproduction capabilities. Concentrated light hits the print, is accumulated in the silver crystals, and is reflected back - it makes the impression that a photograph is in 3D format and shines from inside. À photograph is placed on the metal dibond plate and under Lexan or Perspex – super transparent, non-shattering and antiglare "glass". This kind of acrylic defense is completely colorless and offers the best possible presentation of your print. It also blocks 98% of UV light and is highly resistant to weather, temperature & humidity changes resulting in the best possible archival-life. To finish the luxury design, we offer exclusive custom wooden frames that allow you to get the museum quality of your art.
Our standard delivery time for unframed Fujiflex prints in tubes is 15-18 days worldwide and its absolutely FREE.
